Privacy Policy — Bagel Boyz

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 5, 2026

Bagel Boyz Inc ("Bagel Boyz," "we," "us") respects your privacy. Here's what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

What We Collect

  • Order and payment details, when you order online or buy a gift card, through our point-of-sale partner Toast
  • Catering and wholesale inquiry details you share with us by phone, email or our catering request form, or a catering order placed through ezCater
  • Your name, email, optional phone, work interests, availability and any experience you share in our Careers application
  • Your email address and subscription preferences, if you sign up or ask to hear from us, managed through EmailOctopus. We retain subscription and unsubscribe history, including saved records from our former email provider, Mailchimp.
  • General site traffic through Google Analytics on some pages and Metricool on public marketing pages. The Metricool tag is not used on staff tools.

How We Use It

  • To fulfill your order or catering/wholesale request
  • To answer your inquiry
  • To review your application and contact you about working at Bagel Boyz
  • To send marketing emails you've opted into (every email has an unsubscribe link)
  • To select relevant customer groups for advertising, as described in Customer-List Advertising below
  • To understand and improve the website

Who Sees It

Our team and the services used for that work — Toast, ezCater, EmailOctopus, Google, Metricool and our website host Vercel — process the information needed for their roles. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

Customer-List Advertising

We may use email addresses you share directly with Bagel Boyz, including through orders, email signups and Bagel Bucks, to show relevant Bagel Boyz ads and understand how customer groups respond. We may select customer groups using purchase or loyalty activity. We obtain permission for this use where required by law or Google's policies.

If the source and permissions allow this use, we may share eligible email addresses with Google Ads in hashed form so Google can match accounts and provide advertising and measurement services on our behalf. Hashing converts an email address into a coded value; it does not make the information anonymous. These Google customer lists use email addresses only. We do not upload phone numbers, payment-card details, private inquiry messages or job applications to these lists. Contact details collected only through a catering or wholesale inquiry or job application are excluded.

You can ask us to exclude your email addresses from customer-list advertising by emailing seamus@bagel-boyz.com. We honor advertising opt-outs; they do not stop messages needed to fulfill an order. Signing up for email or joining rewards does not by itself provide any additional permission required for advertising. Customer-list advertising is separate from the optional inquiry-form measurement described below.

Catering Requests

For a ChatGPT ad, if you grant the optional measurement permission, our server reports a received request to OpenAI after our email service accepts it. That signal contains the ad reference, a request reference, its time and the catering page address, without your personal form details. It is a received inquiry, not a qualified lead or confirmed order.

Our catering request form sends your name, email, estimated headcount, city or ZIP, meal preference and any optional phone, date, occasion or notes to our Bagel Boyz email account for review. Google provides our email service and Vercel processes the form. Requests remain in our email and order-review workflow; submitting does not subscribe you to marketing emails or confirm an order. We use a request reference to avoid counting duplicate inquiries.

The form includes known public campaign labels from this page's address so we can identify the source of an inquiry. The optional advertising-measurement checkbox starts unchecked and names the advertising provider for that campaign: Google Ads or OpenAI for ChatGPT Ads. If you choose it, the form also includes that provider's advertising click reference. We may connect that reference with a qualified inquiry or order outcome and share the ad reference, outcome time and order value with the named provider to measure advertising. The form does not send your name, email, phone, occasion or message to either advertising provider, place advertising cookies, save form details in browser storage or automatically count a request as a qualified lead. You can submit without granting this permission. Contact seamus@bagel-boyz.com to withdraw permission for future measurement.

Wholesale Requests

For a ChatGPT ad, if you grant the optional measurement permission, our server reports a received wholesale request to OpenAI after our email service accepts it. That signal contains the ad reference, a wholesale request reference, its time and the wholesale page address. It does not contain your personal or business form details and is not a qualified lead, approved account or confirmed order.

Our wholesale form sends your business name, contact name, email, city or ZIP, estimated quantity, order frequency and any optional phone, business type, preferred start date or notes to Stephen, with an owner copy, through our Bagel Boyz email account. Google provides our email service and Vercel processes the form. Submitting starts a wholesale inquiry; it does not approve an account, confirm an order or subscribe you to marketing emails. A separate wholesale request reference helps us avoid counting duplicate inquiries.

Known public campaign labels accompany the request so we can identify its source. The optional advertising-measurement checkbox starts unchecked and names Google or OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads) for the campaign. If you choose it, we may connect that provider's ad click reference with a qualified wholesale inquiry or order outcome and share the reference, outcome time and order value with the named provider. Your business name, contact details, business type, frequency and notes are not sent to either advertising provider by the form. You can submit without this permission. The form does not place advertising cookies, store your details in browser storage or automatically count a request as a qualified lead. The wholesale form page does not load our third-party analytics tag. Contact seamus@bagel-boyz.com to withdraw permission for future advertising measurement.

Job Applications

Our Careers form sends your application to Ethan at ethan@bagel-boyz.com through our Bagel Boyz Google email account. Vercel processes the form submission. Applications remain in the email delivery and hiring-review workflow; the form does not create a separate applicant database or add you to a marketing list. Temporary technical checks help limit repeated submissions. Please do not include Social Security numbers, banking details or other sensitive documents.
